Section 1: Th9t the Code of Ordinances of the City of Raytown is ended
by the amendment of Chapter 18, "Motor Vehicles wW Traffic," by the amendment
0 f Section 18-22, which shall read as follows:

Sec- 18-22. Manual for uniform traffic control devices.

(a) "The Texas Mmual On Uniform Traffic Control Devices For
Streets And Highways, 1973"

and amendments thereto, shall be
the standard for a uniform system of traffic - control devices u
streets within the City of Baytown. All traffic - control signs, pan
signals and devices shall conform
to the specification set forth in
this manual. All traffic - control devices so
erected and not
inconsistent with the Code of Ordinances shall be official
traffic- control devices.

(b) Prohibited curb zone parking may be designated by
appropriate signs, pavement markings or yellow painted
with stenciled instructions. curbs
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms
of this ordinance are hereby repealed, provided however, that such repeal shall be
only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance
shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and goveridrig the subject matter
covered by this ordinance.
Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any
person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or

invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity
of the remaining provisions of
this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to
this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
Passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
