A PORTION OF DRIVE AS A NO- PARKING ZDNE; DESIGNATOR A PORTION OF NORTH MAIN STREET AS A NO- PARKINS; ZONE; REPEALg ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; CONTAINM A y�V�S CLAUSE; PRESCRIBING A hMII� M PENALTY OF TWO IUD AND NO /100 ($200=) DOLLARS FOR EACH VIOLATIOt6 AND PROVIDING FOR THE HEREOF. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN* TEXAS¢ Section 1: That the following described portion of Rollingbrook Drive is hereby deci "'red to be a no- parking zone, to wit: Rollingbrook Drive: from Decker Drive to Garth Road --both sides of street Section 2: That the following described portion of North Main is hereby declared to be a no- parking zone, to wit: North Main Street: from the Baker Road to Lynchburg - Cedar. Bayou - -both sides of street Section 3: The Director of Planning and Traffic is authorized and directed to cause the proper signs to be posted at the above described location` G Section 4: It shall be unlawful for a driver of a vehicle to disobey the instructions of the signs placed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer. Section S: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed, provided however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter • covered by this ordinance. Section 6: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. :...q k Awl. 40412-4a':- Section 7: Any offense under this chapter for which another penalty is not provided is a misdemeanor punishable by a fire of net less than One ($1.00) Dollar nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, except that minors who have passed their fourteenth birthday but have not reached their seventeenth birthday shall be Punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred and NO /100 ($100.00) Dollars. Section 8: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after the Passage of this ordinance, MTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this the 12th day of April, 1984.
