AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN
ADDING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO COMM DISTRICT I%JMKR STX
(6); REPEALING ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH;
CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF•.

WHEREAS, Section 17 (1) of the Charter of the City of Baytown provides that
the City Council shall redistrict the City if the growth of the City justifies, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to include the newly annexed territory described
herein in a Council District; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOW 46
TEXASO
Section I: Council District No. 6 is hereby redistricted by the addition of
certain property which is described on the attached Exhibit ^A ^.
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms
of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided however, that such repeal shall be
only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance
shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter
covered by this ordinance.
Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of some to any
person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or
invalid, such validity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this
ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this
end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish the caption of this ordinance at least
once in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 22nd day of March, 1984.

ANNEXATION FIELD NOTES FOR
SAN JACINTO CROSSING
BEING a tract or parcel of land containing 65.342 acres and lying =n the
William C. and Charles Boswell League, Abstract No. 1562, also the
F George Ellis League, Abstract No. 21 and the WCRR League, Abstract No.
899, Harris County, Texas and being more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the North right -of -way line of
Sharon Road and the Southeast corner of the Goose Creek Shopping Center,
said point being a part of that certain tract of land conveyed to William
B. Ramsey by Bernard J. &-rski and Wife as recorded in the Marris County
Deed Records, Volume 6918, Page 462, and said point of. beginning being
the intersection of the city limit line along the North right -of -way of
Sharon Road and the city limit line along the East property line of the
aforementioned Goose Creek Shopping Center;
THENCE, South 11° 26' 57" .East for a distance of 60.0 feet to a point-on
the South right -of -way line of Sharon Road;
THENCE, North 78° 33' 03" East along the South right -of -way line of Sharon
Road for a distance of 457.07 feet to a point for a corner;.
THENCE, along the Easterly property line of the San Jacinto Crossing
development as follows:
South 11° 421•48" East - 473.39 feet
North 78° 38' 00" East - 354.33 feet
South 110 36' 24" East - 232.72 feet
North 780 41' 29" East - 448.42 feet
South 10° 23' 25" East - 231.60 feet
South 1011 24' 50" East - 482.98 feet
South 790 28' 58" West - 328.26 feet
South 100 30' l5" East - 660.0 feet to a point for a corner on the
North right -of -way line of Hunt Road;
THENCE, South 790 28' 58" West along the North right -of -way line of Hunt
Road for a distance of 1,321.88 feet;
THENCE, South 780 44' S6" West along the North right -of -way line of Hunt
Road for a distance of 128..29 feet to a point .for a corner; said corner
being the intersection of the North right -of -way of Hunt Road and the
city limit line which is 245.0 feet east and parallel of the Garth Road
East right -of -way line;
THENCE, North 06° 30' 30" West along the city limit line which is 245.0
feet east and parallel to the Garth Road East right -of -way line for a
distance of 2,122.86 feet to a point of intersection with the North
right -of -way line of Sharon Road, said North right -of -way line of Sharon
Road being the city limit line;
THENCE, North 78° 33' 03" East along the North right -of -way line and
city limit line for a distance of 354.99 feet to the Point of Beginning,
enclosing a tract of land containing 65.342 acres, more or less.
