Ordinance No. 3,8011-1 4'0398' YES. ORDINANCE N0. 3801 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF BUFFALO EXCCAVA-IND; AND PAVING COMPANY, INC. FOR THE 1982 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AND IMPROVEMENTS TO BEECH AND OAKWOOD STREETS-, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY TFE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY Tro THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND No /= ($ 5208) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City COu19C11 of the City of Baytown did authorize the Engineering Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the 1982 Community Development Program Improvements to Beech and Oakwood Streets, to be received March 5th, 1984, at 100 a.m.; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 1UM a.m., Monday, March. 5, 1984, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Buffalo Excavating and Paving Company, Inc. for the 1982 Community Development Program and Improvements to Beech and Oakwood Streets for the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND NO /100 ($152,400.00) DOLLARS, and a,ithorizes payment thereof. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown. ` INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of Baytown, this the 8th day of March, 1984.
