w'EREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to
advertise for bids for the annual police and fire uniform
contract to be received December 22nd, 1983; and
VMF EAS, notice to tidders as to the time and place, when
and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the
provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown;
and
MUMAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City hall
at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 22nd, 1963, as per published

TDM:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of Martin's Uniform for the annual police
and fire uniform contract for the sum of THIRTY THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED SEVENTY ONE AND 32/100 (530,571.32) DOLLARS, and
authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shell take effect irrmediately
from and after its passage.
INS- ROWCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown this the 12th day of January,
1984.
