WHEREAS, Section 17 (1) of the Charter of the City of Baytown provides that
the City Council shall redistrict the City if the growth of the City justifies; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to include the newly annexed territory described
herein in a Council District; NOW 7HEREFORE,

Section 1: Council District No. 6 is hereby redistricted by the addition of
certain property which is described on the attached Exhibit RA ".
Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms
of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided however, thct such repeal shall be
only to the extent of such inconsistency and in al. other respects- ;,his ordinance
shall be cumulative of other ordinances 'regulating and governing the subject matter
covered by this ordinance.
Section N If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph,
sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any
person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or
invalid, such validity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this
ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this
end 811 provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish the caption of this ordinance at least
. once in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City
Council of the City of Baytown, this the 27th day of October, 1983.

FIELD NOTES - ANNEXATION
WILLOWCREEK SHOPPING CENTER - PHASE 11
BEGINNING at a point on the existing City Limit line, said point being
the Northwest corner of the Willowcreek Shopping Center, Phase I;
THENCE, North 00° 33' 45" West along the West property line of a 4.0
acre tract situated in the Harvey Whiting Survey, Abstract No. 840 as
conveyed to Brienwolf Corporation from Theo Wilburn and recorded under
County Clerk File No. JD45877 of the Deed Records of Harris County,
Texas for a distance of 355.59 feet;
THENCE. North 00° 33' 45" West for a distance of 30.0 feet to a point
for a corner;
THENCE, North 89° 26' 15" East along the North right -of -way line of the
proposed street for a distance of 245.0 feet;
THENCE, South O0. 33' 45" East along the existing City Limit line which
is parallel and 300 feet West of the Garth Road centerline, for a distance
of 30.0 feet;
THENCE. South 00" 33' 45" East along the existing City Limit line which
is parallel and 300 feet West of the Garth Road centerline, for a distance
of 355.59 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE, South 890 26' 15" Kest along the existing City Limit line, said
City Limit line being the Southern most property line of the aforementioned
4.0 acre tract, for a distance of 245.0 feet to the Point of Beginning,
containing 2.169 acres of land, more or less.
