Ordinance No. 3,65630728 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 3656 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR THE PUBLIC HEARINGS ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF WILLOW CREEK SHOPPING CENTER, PHASE II; DIRECTING THE PREP- ARATION OF A SERVICE PLAN; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEARINGS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. k### tF######## kkk### kk## kkkkk## k######### k#### kk## k # # # # # # # # #k #kkkk # # # # # # # #kkkk # ## BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: On the 11th day of August, 1983, at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chamber of the City Hall of Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Baytown, Texas, of the property described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2: On the 11th day of August, 1983, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. at a site located approximately ten feet north and five feet east of the northwest corner of the Willow Creek Shopping Center, Phase I, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Baytown Texas of the property described in the attached Exhibit "A ". Section 3: In compliance with TEX. REV. CIV. STAT. art. 970a, as amended, the Planning Department is hereby directed to prepare a service plan that provides for the extension of municipal service into the area described in Exhibit "A ". Section 5: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of each public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of each public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; compiled at 970a Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, as amended). Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage. 30728 -2a FIELD NOTES - ANNEXATION WILLOWCREEK SHOPPING CENTER - PHASE II BEGINNING at a point on the existing City Limit line, said point being the Northwest corner of the Willowcreek Shopping Center, Phase I; THENCE, North 00° 33' 45" West along the West property line of a 4.0 acre tract situated in the Harvey Whiting Survey, Abstract No. 840 as conveyed to Brienwolf Corporation from Theo Wilburn and recorded in Volume , Page , of the Deed Records of Harris County, Texas for a distance of 355—.T9—feet; THENCE, North 000 33' 45" West for a distance of 30.0 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE, North 89° 26' 15" East along the North right -of -way line of the proposed street for a distance of 245.0 feet; THENCE, South 000 33' 45" East along the existing City Limit line which is parallel and 300 feet West of the Garth Road centerline, for a distance of 30.0 feet; THENCE, South 000 33' 45" East along the existing City Limit line which is parallel and 300 feet West of the Garth Road centerline, for a distance of 355.59 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE, South 89° 26' 15" West along the existing City Limit line, said City Limit line being the Southern most property line of the aforementioned 4.0 acre tract, for a distance of 245.0 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 2.169 acres of land, more or less. 7/25/83 30728 -2b INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED this the 28th day of July, 1982. —_ATTEST:; EILEEN P.
