Ordinance No. 3,61930512-1 URDINANCE NO. 3619 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF DOC'S ROAD BORING, INC., FOR THE BORING OF DRIVEWAYS ALONG FELTON STREET AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED SIXTY NINE & 50/100 ($3,969.50) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Engineering Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the boring of 19 driveways on Felton Street to be received May 5, 1983; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:00 a.m., Thursday May 5, 1983, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Doc's Road Boring, Inc. for the boring of 19 driveways along Felton Street for the sum of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Nine & 50/100 ($3,969.50) Dollars, and authorizes payment thereof. Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
