ORDINANCE NO. 3548
ACCEPTING THE BID OF SAN JACINTO FORD
PICKUP TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING THE
HE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF EIGHT
HUNDRED THREE & 37/100 ($8,103.37)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to
advertise for bids for a 1/2 ton pickup truck to be received
January 5, 1983; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when
and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the
provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown;
and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall
at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday,January 5, 1983, as per published
notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of San Jacinto Ford for a 1/2 ton pickup
truck for the sum of Eight Thousand One Hundred Three & 37/100
($8,103.37) Dollars, and authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the
City Council of the City of Baytown this the 13th day of
January, 1983.
