Ordinance No. 3,48121014 -10 ORDINANCE NO. 3481 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF J.B. BATTLE, MARTIN' UNIFORMS AND FACTORY'S SALES FOR THE ANNUAL POLICE AND FIRE UNIFORM CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND FIFTEEN & 50/100 ($27,015.50) DOLLARS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the annual police and fire uniform contract to be received September 21, 1982; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 2 :00 p.m., Tuesday, September 21, 1982, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of J. B. BATTLE UNIFORM COMPANY and authorizes payment as follows: Item No. 4 $ 189.50 Item No. 7 2,800.00 Item No. 10 (Police) 595.00 Item No. (Fire) 119.00 Item No. 12 439.00 Item No. 13 1,175.00 Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of MARTIN'S UNIFORMS and authorizes payment as follows: Item No. 1 $ 4,356.00 Item No. 2 3,916.00 Item No. 3 1,600.00 Item No. 5 8,844.00 Item No. 6 460.00 Item No. 8 (police) 730.00 (Fire) 146.00 Item No. 9 396.00 21014 -10a Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of FACTORY SALES CO., and authorizes payment as follows: Item No. 11 $ 1,250.00 Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
