Ordinance No. 3,21610827 -4 ORDINANCE NO. 3216 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MARTIN & SONS FOR THE DEMOLITION OF THE STRUCTURES AT 2112 ALVA; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY -FIVE AND NO 1100 ($3,385.00) DOLLARS; MAKING VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT. WHEREAS, the City of Baytown submitted the proposed contract to demolish certain structures at 2111 Alva to competitive bid by publishing notice of the time and place, when and where such contract would be let as provided by Texas Revised Civil Statue article 2368a; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 1981, as provided by said notice; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council hereby accepts the bid of martin & Sons for the demolition and removal of the structures at 2112 Alva. Section 2: That the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and attest to a contract with Martin & Sons for Three Thousand Three Hundred Eighty --Five and No /100 ($3,385.00) Dollars for the demolition and removal of the structures at 2112 Alva. Section 3: That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
