Ordinance No. 3,17510611 -6 ORDINANCE NO. 3175 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF UTILITY EASEMENTS BY EDGAR F. SEEGERS AND WIFE, PATRICIA L. SEEGERS AND BARRY D. NOLAN AND WIFE, MARGARET ANN NOLAN; DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO FILE SAID DEDICATION WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, Country Club Oaks Subdivision is experiencing flood problems near or about Lot 19 and 20, Block 8 of the subdivision in Baytown, Harris County, Texas; and WHEREAS, as a remedy to this problem, easements are needed to provide drainage to the area; and WHEREAS, the landowners have dedicated said easements to the City of Baytown for public use; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City of Baytown, Texas, formally accepts the utility easement dedications from EDGAR F. SEEGERS and wife, PATRICIA L. SEEGERS and BARRY D. NOLAN and wife, MARGARET ANN NOLAN, being the owners of Lots 20 and 19 respectively, said easements being described in Exhibit "A ", and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes. Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file the utility easement dedications with the County Clerk of Harris County, Texas. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas. NOLAN, ET UX EXHIBIT "A" 10611 -6c Being an easement along the northern boundary line of Lot 20, Block 8, of Country Club Oaks Subdivision in Baytown, Harris County, Texas, being further described as follows: Beginning at a point where the east side of Goose Creek Drive and the north boundary line of Lot 20, Block 8 of Country Club Oaks Subdivision meet; THENCE in an easterly direction along the north boundary line of said lot for a distance of 120 feet to a point for corner at the northeast corner of said lot; THENCE in a southerly direction along the east boundary line of said lot for a distance of 10 feet to a point for a corner; THENCE In a westerly direction running parallel with the north boundary line of said lot for a distance of 120 feet to a point for corner in the west boundary line of said lot where said west boundary line meets the east side of Goose Creek Drive; THENCE along the west boundary line of said lot in a northerly direction for a distance of 10 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
