ORDINANCE NO. 3150
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF SAN JACINTO FORD FOR THE
PURCHASE OF 1 z TON UTILITY TRUCK AND AUTHORIZING THE
PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN OF THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN
THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY NINE & 15/100 ($17,729.15)
DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown
to advertise for bids for the purchase of 1 2 ton utility truck
to be received April 21, 1981, and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place,
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of
the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 21, 1981, as per published
notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of San Jacinto Ford for the purchase
of 1 z ton utility truck for the sum of SEVENTEEN THOUSAND
SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY NINE & 15/100 ($17,729.15) Dollars, and
authorizes payment thereof.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this 14th day of May , 1981.
