Ordinance No. 3,143105 f 4 -3 C; ORDINANCE NO. 3143 AN ORDINANCE SETTING A DATE, TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF TIERRA DEL ORO, SECTIONS 2 AND 3, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF SUCH PUBLIC HEAR- ING; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: On the 28th day of May 1981, at 7 :00 p,min the City Council Chamber of the City Hall of the City of Baytown, Texas, the City Council will hold a public hearing giving all interested parties the right to appear and be heard on the proposed annexation by the City of Baytown, Texas, of the following described property, to- wit. (SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A ") Section 2: The City Clerk of the City of Baytown is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of such public hearing to be published once in the newspaper having general circulation in the City and in the above described territory not more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10) days prior to the date of such public hearing, all in accordance with the Municipal Annexation Act (Chapter 160, Acts of the 58th Legislature, Regular Session, 1963; com- piled as 970a Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, as amended). Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
