A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN
AREA WATER AUTHORITY AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 6
WITH PEPPER LAWSON WATERWORKS, LLC, FOR THE BAWA 6 MGD
SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF
FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE AND
201100 DOLLARS ($550,559.20); AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREOF.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE BAYTOWN AREA
WATER AUTHORITY:
Section 1: That the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority does
hereby authorize Change Order No. 6 with Pepper Lawson Waterworks, LLC, for the BAWA 6
MGD Surface Water Treatment Plant Project. A copy of said change order is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A" and made a part hereof for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: That the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority hereby
authorizes the payment of an amount not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND
FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE AND 20+ 100 DOLLARS ($550,559.20) to Pepper Lawson
Waterworks, LLC, consistent with the change order authorized in Section 1.
Section 3: This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by
the Board of Directors of the Baytown Area Water Authority.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the Board of Directors
of the Baytown Area Water Authority this the 19th day of June, 2019.

Date: 20-May-19
Per the request from the City and the attached RFP 003, PLW is proposing to Furnish and install the specified
Endress+Hauser radar type level transmitters and local readout, in order to match the City of Baytown's
Instrumentation. The radar type level transmitters will replace the originally designed ultrasonic level transmitters
and transducers per the request. The equipment identifiers will remain t11e same as originally designed. Please see the
attached back-up documentation.
Additionally, per the request from the City, PLW is proposing to develop install and configure a complete and
functional SCADA System per the Contract Documents, as outlined by the EOR/City.
