Ordinance No. 2,93200710 -10 ORDINANCE NO. 2932 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PFEIFFER- GAMBRELL INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ESTIMATED QUANTITIES OF VEHICLE DETECTION LOOPS ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS, WITH THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO BE BASED UPON THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES SUPPLIED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of estimated quantities of vehicle detection loops on a unit price basis to be received July 3, 1980; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 1980, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Pfeiffer- Gambrell Inc. for the purchase of vehicle detection loops in accordance with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows: ESTIMATED QUANTITY 16 DESCRIPTION Loop & lead -in installation in concrete Loop & lead -in installation in asphalt 16 Lead -in instal- lation in dirt (including PVC conduit) 16 Lead -in instal- lation in existing conduit ESTIMATED TOTAL PRICE $6.75 linear ft. $5.75 linear ft. $5.00 linear ft. $0.60 linear ft. 00710 -10a with the compensation to be paid to be based upon the actual quantities supplied.
