Ordinance No. 2,741C� Q-A- a , I s ,Is o e�. y, I q,)Y 9o927.-12 ® ORDINANCE NO. 2741 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24, "PLUMBING," OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN SETTING PERMIT FEES; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY OF UP TO $100.00; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That Chapter 24, "Plumbing," of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown is hereby amended by the ® amendment of Section 24 -2, Amendments, Deletions and Modifica- tions, by the addition of the following: Subsection 9.2.2 Table of fees, as contained in the suggested Plumbing Code is hereby repealed and a new subsection 9.2.2 is hereby adopted that reads as follows: 9.2.2 Table of Fees Issue fee . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $ 3.00 Number of fixtures or traps ($2.00 per fixture) Sewer line . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5.00 House sewer replacement . . . . . Section 3: If any provision, section, exception, sub- section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held unconstitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the valid- ity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. Section 4: Any person who shall violate any provision or provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars. Each day of the continuance of such violation shall be considered a separate offense. Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after its passage.
