Ordinance No. 2,72690913 -5 ® ORDINANCE NO. 2726 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST TO A DEED TRANSFERRING PROPERTY ON CHERRY STREET IN CONSIDERATION OF THE RECEIPT OF THE SALES PRICE OF THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FORTY -TWO AND N01100 ($3,442.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City of Baytown for itself, and as trustee for Harris County and Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District, acquired certain property on Cherry Street by tax foreclosure sale; and WHEREAS, the City did duly publish notice that bids for ® the sale of that property were being accepted; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Monday, September 10, 1979, as per published notice to bidders; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the value of such property to be Three Thousand Four Hundred Forty -Two and No /100 ($3,442.00) Dollars; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown ® hereby accepts the bid of Guadalupe and Silvia Cisneros for the purchase of Lot 30 and the south one -half of Lot 31, Block 4, Airhart Addition, for Three Thousand Four Hundred Forty -Two and No /100 ($3,442.00) Dollars. Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to.execute and attest to a deed conveying said property to Guadalupe and Silvia Cisneros upon receipt of Three Thousand Four Hundred Forty -Two and No /100 ($3,442.00) Dollars as the sales price of the property.
