Ordinance No. 2,716808 3 -2 ORDINANCE NO. 2716 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FRANK'S LAWNMOWER SHOP FOR THE PURCHASE OF ESTIMATED QUANTITIES OF DUAL VOLTAGE PORTABLE POWER PLANTS ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS, WITH THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO BE BASED UPON THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES SUPPLIED. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of estimated quantities of dual voltage portable power plants on a unit price basis to be received August 20, 1979; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Monday, August 20, 1979, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Frank's Lawnmower Shop for the purchase of dual voltage portable power plants in accordance with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows: ESTIMATED. ESTIMATED QUANTITY DESCRIPTION UNIT PRICE. TOTAL PRICE 6 dual voltage portable power plants $737.00 $4,422.00 with the compensation to be paid to be based upon the actual quantities supplied.
