ORDINANCE NO. 2623
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MINNESOTA MINING &
MANUFACTURING COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE HEAT LAMP
VACUUM APPLICATOR AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE
CITY OF THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY -FIVE
AND N01100 ($2,695.00) DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown
to advertise for bids for the purchase of one heat lamp
vacuum applicator to be received January 26, 1979; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, 15
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the
City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 26, 1979, as per published
notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing
Company for the purchase of one heat lamp vacuum applicator
for the sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred Ninety -Five and
No /100 ($2,695.00) Dollars on a delivery date of 30 days and
authorizes payment of the sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred
Ninety -Five and No /100 ($2,695.00) Dollars.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this 8th day of February 1979.
