ORDINANCE NO. 2605
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PUMP & POWER EQUIPMENT
COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF PUMP AND POWER EQUIPMENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF
ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY -TWO AND NO 1100
($1,722.00) DOLLARS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did
authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown
to advertise for bids for the purchase of three water pumps
to be received January 5, 1979; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place,
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the
City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 9:30 a.m., Friday, January 5, 1979, as per published
notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown
hereby accepts the bid of Pump & Power Equipment Company for
the purchase of three water pumps for the sum of One Thousand
Seven Hundred Twenty -Two and No /100 ($1,722.00) Dollars on a
delivery date of 45 days and authorizes payment of the sum
of One Thousand Seven Hundred Twenty -Two and No /100 ($1,722.00)
Dollars.
Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this 11th day of January , 1979.
