Ordinance No. 2,567ra ORDINANCE NO. 2567 81026 -3 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING BIDS FOR ONE -HALF TON PICKUP TRUCKS AS FOLLOWS: VINSON BAYTOWN DODGE FOR SECTION I AND BOB HAMRIC CHEVROLET FOR SECTION II OF CITY OF BAYTOWN BID NO. 7810 -3, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN FOR EACH SECTION AS SET OUT BELOW. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of one -half ton pickup trucks to be received October 23, 1978; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 23, 1978, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Vinson Baytown Dodge for Section I of City of Baytown Bid No. 7810 -3, 1 unit to be equipped with Option No. 1, 2 units to be equipped with Option No. 2, 1 unit to be equipped with Option No. 3, and 3 units to be equipped with options No. 1 and 2, and authorizes payment in the amount of Thirty -Eight Thousand Thirty -Three and 41/100 ($38,033.41) Dollars with regard to such acceptance. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown hereby accepts the bid of Bob Hamric Chevrolet for Section II of City of Baytown Bid No. 7810 -3, both units to be equipped with Option No. 2, and authorizes payment in the amount of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Ninety -Five and 44/100 ($10,695.44) Dollars with regard to such acceptance. w 81026 -3a Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
