Ordinance No. 2,522ORDINANCE NO. 2522 0824 -2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN REPEALING THE TAX LEVY UPON THE COST OF OCCUPANCY OF ANY SLEEPING ROOM FURNISHED BY ANY HOTEL. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the Code of Ordinances, City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended by the repeal of Section 28�- 11 - -16, adopted by Ordinance No. 2518 and providing for the levy of a tax upon the cost of occupancy of any sleeping room furnished by any hotel. Section 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
