Ordinance No. 2,455la ORDINANCE NO. 2455 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE REMOVAL OF STOP SIGNS AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, pursuant to the provisions of Article 6701d, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, does declare the following described intersections will no longer be stop intersections, to wit: McKinney Road /Cedar Bayou Road at Cedar Bayou Road /Pecan Street for north and southbound traffic Cedar Bayou Road /James Bowie Drive at Cedar Bayou Road for east and westbound traffic Section 2: The Director of Planning and Traffic is authorized and directed to cause the removal of the stop signs at the above described locations. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
