Ordinance No. 2,402ORDINANCE NO. 2402 80126 -7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF DECKER DRIVE AND NORTH - WOOD AS NO PARKING ZONES: REPEALING ORDINANCES INCON- CONSISTENT HEREWITH: CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PRE- SCRIBING A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF TWO HUNDRED AND N01100 DOLLARS FOR EACH VIOLATION; AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the following described portions of Decker Drive and Northwood Drive hereby declared to be no parking zones, to -wit: All sides of Decker Drive from Goose Creek to 2000 feet northwest of Goose Creek; and Both Sides of Northwood Street from Garth Road to 300 feet west of Garth Road. Section 2: The Director of Planning is hereby autho- rized to cause the proper signs to be posted at the above described locations. Section 3: It shall be unlawful for a driver of a vehicle to disobey the instructions of the signs placed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer. Each day of the continuance of such violation shall be considered a separate offense and each and every day shall constitute a separate violation. Section 7: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days from its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after the passage of this ordinance.
