Ordinance No. 2,3398085 ORDINANCE NO. 2339 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF VERMEER SALES OF TEXAS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE OIL STORAGE AND DISPENSING SYSTEM AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED AND N01100 ($3,100.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of one oil storage and dispensing system to be received October 5, 1977; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 1977, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Vermeer Sales of Texas for the purchase of one oil storage and dispensing system for the sum of Three Thousand One Hundred and No /100 ($3,100.00) Dollars on a delivery date of 30 days and authorizes payment of the sum of Three Thousand One Hundred and No /100 ($3,100.00) Dollars.
