Ordinance No. 2,332ORDINANCE NO. 2332 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE POSTING OF CERTAIN INTERSECTION; PRESCRIBING A TWO HUNDRED AND NO 1100 ($200.00) DO TION THEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. o • - 8073 THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, A YIELD SIGN AT A MAXIMUM PENALTY OF LLARS FOR THE VIOLA - PUBLICATION AND BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, pursuant to the provisions of Article 6701d, Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes, does declare the following described intersection to be a yield intersection, to -wit: Polly Street and West Lobit Avenue Section 2: The Director of Planning and Traffic is authorized and directed to cause the proper sign to be posted at the above described location. Section 3: It shall be unlawful for a driver of a vehicle to disobey the instructions of the signs placed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer. Section 4: Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, and each violation shall constitute a separate offense. Section 5: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by 8074 causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after the passage of this ordinance.
