Ordinance No. 2,2884 ORDINANCE NO. 2288 ig 7832 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF BELL & HOWELL COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE CAMERA AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF TWO THOUSAND SIXTY -THREE AND N01100 ($2,063.00) DOLLARS AND ACCEPTING THE BID OF 3M BUSINESS PRODUCTS SALES INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE READER /PRINTER AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF FOUR THOUSAND TWENTY -SEVEN AND 61/100 ($4,027.61) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of one camera and one reader /printer for the police department to be received July 26, 1977; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, July 27, 1977, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Bell & Howell Company for the purchase of one camera for the police department for the sum of Two Thousand Sixty -Three and No /100 ($2,063.00) Dollars on a delivery date of 45 days and authorizes payment of the sum of Two Thousand Sixty -Three and No /100 ($2,063.00) Dollars. A la ,OWN 1 7833 Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of 3M Business Products Sales Inc. for the purchase of one reader /printer for the police department for the sum of Four Thousand Twenty -Seven and 61/100 ($4,027.61) Dollars on a delivery date of 30 days and authorizes payment of the sum of Four Thousand Twenty -Seven and 61/100 ($4,027.61) Dollars.
