Dear Mr. Lanham:
This letter is a proposal for M & M Engineering Company
to perform the engineering design on the Baytown Civic
Center heating and cooling system to provide satisfactory
temperature control.
This work would basically consist of the followings
1.Engineering design of a zoned heating and cooling
system compatible with the existing Civic Center
HVAC equipment.
2.Prepare drawings and specifications for the new system.
3.Assist the City in taking bids and awarding a contract
for installation of the new system.
4.Review shop drawings and submittals from the successful
contractor.
5.Conduct periodic inspections as the project progresses.
6.Witness final acceptance test with the City of Baytown
and Contractor.
This project is similar to the renovation of the air condition-
ing system at City Hall. The cost'should be within the alloc-
ated $65,000 and the engineering fee would be $3500.
Preparation of the design, drawings and specifications would
require about six weeks.
If this proposal meets with the approval of the City of
Baytown, please sign in the space provided below and return
one copy to us. Work could begin immediately on this project.
