Ordinance No. 2,225fneL I IelI t g ?? 7525 ORDINANCE NO. 2225 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, APPROVING AMENDMENT BY THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF RULE I, SECTION 13, "DIRECTOR," OF THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS; REPEALING ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; CONTAINING A SAVINGS CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission of the City of Baytown, Texas, has recommended to this Council that it take such action as is necessary to permit the City's Personnel Director to serve as Director of the Firemen's and Policemen's Civil Service; and WHEREAS, such Council action has now been taken and the Civil Service Commission has recommended that the Local Civil Service Rules be amended so that they will reflect the change; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section l: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, approves the amendment of the Civil Service Rules of Baytown, Texas, Rule I, Section 13, which shall now read as follows, to -wit: Sec. 13.
