Ordinance No. 2,2207502 ORDINANCE NO. 2220 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING THE CLEANING AND TELE- VISING OF SANITARY SEWER LINES BY C M C SPECIALISTS, INC. FINDING THAT THE WORK HAS BEEN PERFORMED IN ACCOR- DANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT; ACCEPTING THE CITY ENGINEER'S CERTIFICATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE; AND AUTHORIZING THE FINAL PAYMENT TO THE SAID C M C SPECIAL- ISTS, INC. AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City of Baytown contracted with C M C Specialists, Inc. for the cleaning and televising of estimated quantities of sanitary sewer lines; and WHEREAS, all of said work, as provided for in the plans and specifications heretofore prepared by the City Engineer, and as approved and adopted by the City Council, has been performed and completed in full accordance with all of the terms and provisions of the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Engineer in the manner provided by the terms of the said contract and the plans and specifi- cations thereof, has approved and accepted said work and has heretofore issued his Certificate of Final Acceptance, and has certified same to the City Council and recommended that it accept and receive said work as constructed and completed by C M C Specialists, Inc.; and WHEREAS, there remains and owing to said contractor the sum of Five Thousand Three and 18/100 ($5,003.18) Dollars; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council hereby approves and accepts said work, and finds and determines that all of said work has been completed as provided in the plans and specifi- cations therefore, and in full accordance with all of the terms and provisions of the aforesaid contract. w 7503 Section 2: That the Certificate of Final Acceptance heretofore issued by the City Engineer and certified to the City Council is hereby accepted and received. Section 3: That final payment to the said C M C Specialists, Inc. in the amount of Five Thousand Three and 18/100 ($5,003.18) Dollars is hereby authorized and directed. Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
