Ordinance No. 2,1997411 ORDINANCE NO. 2199 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF UNIVERSAL FENCE COMPANY, INC. FOR THE REMOVAL OF EXISTING FENCE AND THE INSTAL- LATION OF CHAIN LINK FENCE AND GATES AT VARIOUS WATER WELL SITES IN THE CITY FOR THE SUM OF FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY -ONE AND N01100 ($4,131.00) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the removal of existing fence and the installation of chain link fence and gates at various water well sites to be received March 16, 1977; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9 :30 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 1977, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Universal Fence Company, Inc. for the removal of existing fence and the installation of chain link fence and gates at various water well sites as set forth in City of Baytown Bid No. 773 -55 on a timetable of 30 working days for the sum of Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty -One and No /100 ($4,131.00) Dollars. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown. 7412 INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council on this 24th day of March , 1977.
