Ordinance No. 2,195N 7403 ORDINANCE NO. 2195 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF JEM ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ESTIMATED QUANTITIES OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL SUPPORTS ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS, WITH THE COMPENSA- TION TO BE PAID TO BE BASED UPON THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES SUPPLIED AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the administration of the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of estimated quantities of traffic signal supports on a unit price basis to be received March 15, 1977; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 1977, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Jem Engineering & Manufacturing, Inc. for the purchase of estimated quantities of traffic signal supports in accordance with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows: ESTIMATED QUANTITY 4 4 1 DESCRIPTION 20' Mast Arm Pole 25' Mast Arm Pole 25'/25' Double Mast Arm Pole UNIT PRICE $1,018.68 $1,056.70 $1,592.70 ESTIMATED TOTAL PRICE $4,074.72 $4,226.80 $1,592.70 $9,894.22 with the compensation to be paid to be based upon the actual quantities supplied. 7404 Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
