ORDINANCE NO. 2182
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, ACCEPTING A 20 FOOT DRAINAGE EASEMENT DEDICATION
BY JOE AYLOR AND GENE BRANSCOME INVESTMENTS; DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO FILE SAID EASEMENT DEDICATION WITH
THE COUNTY CLERK OF HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN, TEXAS:
Section 1: That the City of Baytown formally accepts
the dedication of a 20 foot drainage easement from Joe Aylor
and Gene Branscome Investments, owners of the property where
the easement is situated, said drainage easement being
described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all intents and purposes.
Section 2: The City Clerk is hereby directed to file
the drainage easement dedication with the County Clerk of
Harris County, Texas.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage by the City Council of the City
of Baytown, Texas.
INTRODUCED, READ, and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this 24th day of February ,
1977.

BEING a drainage easement out of the Harvey Whiting Survey,
A -840, Harris County, Texas, and being a part of that certain
60 foot Harris County Flood Control Easement as shown on the
plat of Quail Hollow Section One as evidenced by plat filed
for record in Volume 235 at page 20 of the Map Records of
Harris County, Texas, and being more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
EASEMENT NO. 1
COMMENCING at the Northeast corner of Lot 27 of Quail
Hollow Section One, said point being situated in the
West right -of -way line of Ripple Creek Drive;
THENCE North 070 27' 06" West with the West right -of-
way line of Ripple Creek Drive a distance of 20.20 feet
to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this easement;
THENCE North 070 27' 06" West continuing with the West
right -of -way line of Ripple Creek Drive a distance of
20.20 feet to a point;
THENCE South 740 31' 40" West with the North line of
this easement a distance of 116.14 feet to a point
situated in the East line of an existing Harris County
Flood Control Easement;
THENCE South 070 27' 06" East with the East line of the
above mentioned Harris County Flood Control Easement a
distance of 20.20 feet to a point;
THENCE North 740 31' 40" East with the South line of
this easement a distance of 116.14 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING, enclosing 0.053 acres more or less.
EASEMENT NO. 2
COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of Lot 28 of Quail
Hollow Section One, said point being situated in the
East right -of -way line of Ripple Creek Drive;
THENCE North 070 27' 06" West with the East right-of-
way line of Ripple Creek Drive a distance of 20.20 feet
l to the POINT OF BEGINNING of this easement;
THENCE North 070 27' 06" West continuing with the East
right -of -way line of Ripple Creek Drive a distance of
20.20 feet to a point;
THENCE North 740 31' 40" East with the North line of
this easement a distance of 1481.53 feet to a point
situated in the West right -of -way line of Quail Hollow
Drive, being a curve;
THENCE in a Southerly direction with a curve to the
right having a radius of 459.39 feet and curvilinear
distance of 21.13 feet to a point;
THENCE South 740 31' 40" West with the South line of
this easement a distance of 1477.54 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING, enclosing 0.679 acres more or less.
