Ordinance No. 2,1507210 ORDINANCE NO. 2150 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING, CONTINGENT UPON APPROVAL OF THE PROPER STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES, THE PURCHASE OF A 6.5576 ACRE TRACT OF LAND AS HEREIN DESCRIBED FROM DECKER DRIVE INVESTMENTS, A PARTNERSHIP (MARVIN E. LEGGETT, GENERAL PARTNER), OR THE TRUE OWNER THEREOF, ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS FOR THE SUM OF FIFTY -SIX HUNDRED ($5,600) DOLLARS PER ACRE; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE PURCHASE PRICE THEREOF; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby authorizes, contingent upon approval of the proper state and federal agencies, the purchase of a 6.5576 acre tract of land, more or less, on a unit price basis for the sum of Fifty -Six Hundred ($5,600) Dollars per acre, said tract being more particularly described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the south right - of -way line of Interstate Highway No. 10 with the centerline of Spring Gully; THENCE, N 690 22' 24" E, with the south right -of -line of Interstate Highway No. 10, a distance of 129.75 feet to angle point; THENCE, S 870 07' 04" E, continuing with said south right - of -way line, a distance of 98.35 feet to a point, the beginning of a curve to the left; THENCE, in a northeasterly direction along the are of said curve to the left and said south right -of -way line, having a radius of 572.47 feet, a central angle of 290 32' 26 ", a distance of 295.15 feet to a point, the end of said curve, for corner; THENCE, S 200 38' 10" E, a distance of 600.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE, S 690 21' 50" W, a distance of 439.28 feet to the centerline of Spring Gully; THENCE, in a northerly direction following the meanders of the centerline of Spring Gully as follows: Y N 030 N 830 N 010 S 780 N 210 N 380 N 480 OF BEGINNI 35' 04' 02' 51' 18' 23' 01, KG a 40" 40" 00" 30" 40" 50" 17" nd c W, a distance W, a distance E, a distance E, a distance E, a distance W, a distance W, a distance ontaining 6.55 of of of of of of of 76 7211 30.24 feet; 211.06 feet; 138.32 feet; 184.78 feet; 99.71 feet; 362.67 feet; 119.74 feet to the PLACE acres of land. from Decker Drive Investments, a partnership (Marvin E. Leggett, general partner) or the true owner thereof whether correctly named herein or not, and authorizes payment by the City of the purchase price thereof. Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
