Ordinance No. 2,1447191 ORDINANCE NO. 2144 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ELIMINATING THE MANDATORY RIGHT TURN MOVEMENT FOR TRAFFIC ON SOUTH HIGHWAY 146 AT EAST TEXAS AVENUE; DIRECTING THE CHIEF OF POLICE AND THE DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND TRAFFIC TO REMOVE SIGNS DIRECTING MANDATORY RIGHT TURN MOVEMENTS AT SAID INTERSECTION; AND PRO- VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby eliminates the mandatory right turn movement for traffic on South Highway 146 at East Texas Avenue. Section 2: That the Chief of Police and the Director of Planning and Traffic are hereby authorized and directed to remove signs requiring mandatory right turn movements at the aforesaid intersection. Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
