Ordinance No. 2,1307157 ORDINANCE NO. 2130 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF BARCO MUNICIPAL PRODUCTS, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF ESTIMATED QUANTITIES OF BARRICADE LIGHTS ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS, WITH THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO BE BASED UPON THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES SUPPLIED AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of estimated quantities of barricade lights on a unit price basis to be received November 16, 1976; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9 :30 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 1976, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN : Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Barco Municipal Products, Inc. for the purchase of barricade lights in accordance with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows: ESTIMATED QUANTITY 150 DESCRIPTION Barricade lights UNIT PRICE $8.50 ESTIMATED TOTAL PRICE $1,275.00 with compensation to be paid to be based upon the actual quantities supplied. 7158 Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
