ORDINANCE NO. 2129
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS TRACTORS
BY ACCEPTING THE BIDS OF JIM BALL INTERNATIONAL, INC.
FOR SECTION NO. I, AIR COOLED ENGINE SERVICE & SUPPLY
FOR SECTION NO. II AND WATSON DISTRIBUTING COMPANY FOR
SECTION NO. III OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN BID NO. 7611 -19;
AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN FOR EACH
SECTION AS SET OUT BELOW.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City
of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of miscel-
laneous tractors to be received November 16, 1976; and
WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place,
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of
the City of Baytown; and
WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 16, 1976, as per published
notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Jim Ball International,
Inc. for the purchase of miscellaneous tractors, Section I
and authorizes payment as follows:
Section I $15,740.86
Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Air Cooled Engine Service &
Supply for Section II and authorizes payment as follows:
Section II $1,688.91

Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown,
Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Watson Distributing Company
for Section III and authorizes payment as follows:
Section III $3,637.00
Section 4: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take
effect immediately from and after its passage by the affirma-
tive vote of the City Council of the City of Baytown.
INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
