Ordinance No. 2,1207128 ORDINANCE NO. 2120 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ABANDONING A DEDICATED ALLEY IN PELLY ADDITION, BAYTOWN, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SUCH INSTRUMENTS AS ARE NECESSARY FOR SUCH ABANDONMENT, IF ANY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, there presently exists a 20 foot by 102 foot dedicated alley in Pelly Addition between Ash Street and Lee Drive in Baytown, Harris County, Texas; and WHEREAS, there is common ownership of the property abutting both sides of said alley and said owners have requested abandonment of this alley by the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, the provisions of Resolution No. 11 of the City Council of the City of Baytown dated the 24th day of January, 1963, have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the 20 foot by 102 foot alley between Ash Street and Lee Drive in Pelly Addition, Baytown, Harris County, Texas is hereby abandoned and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such instruments necessary for such abandonment, if any.
