Ordinance No. 2,1181W 7125 ORDINANCE NO. 2118 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, BY THE AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 7, "BUILDINGS ", SECTION 7 -2, PROPERTY DELETED FROM FIRE ZONES, BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUB - SECTION (g), REPEALING ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH AND PRO- VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown, Texas, is hereby amended by amending Chapter 7, "Buildings ", Section 7 -2, Property deleted from fire zones, by the addition of a new sub - section (g), which shall read as follows, to -wit: (g) Beginning at a point of intersection between the west right -of -way line of Lot 45, Mollie Knowlton Subdivision in the City of Baytown, Harris County, Texas, and the western boundary of Fire Zone No. 2 along SH 146; Thence north Fire Zone No point; Thence S 100 point; Thence S 540 point; Thence S 350 point; Thence N 540 point on the along the western boundary of said 2 a distance of 45.5 feet to a 15' E a distance of 37.9 feet to a 05' E a distance of 36.4 feet to a 55' W a distance of 28.0 feet to a 05' W a distance of 55.6 feet to a west property line of said Lot 45; Thence N 100 15' W along the west right -of -way line of Lot 45 a distance of 11.6 feet to the point of beginning, and containing approximately .0512 acres. Section 2: Repealing Cluase: All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed; provided, however, that such repeal 7126 shall be only to the extent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3: Savings Clause: If any provision, section, exception, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person_ or set of circumstances, shall for any reason be held uncon- stitutional, void or invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance or their application to other persons or sets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of this ordi- nance are declared to be severable. Section 4: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
