Ordinance No. 2,1167121 ORDINANCE NO. 2116 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING BIDS FOR 'MISCELLANEOUS TRUCK BODIES AS FOLLOWS: BAYTOWN MOTORS, INC. FOR SECTIONS I AND II AND BOB HAMRIC CHEVROLET FOR SECTION III OF CITY OF BAYTOWN BID NO. 7610 -10, AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF BAYTOWN FOR EACH SECTION AS SET OUT BELOW. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of miscella- neous truck bodies to be received October 25, 1976; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to the provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 25, 1976, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Baytown Motors, Inc. for Section I of City of Baytown Bid No. 7610 -10, 9 units to be equipped with Option No. 1, 7 units to be equipped with Option No. 2 and 7 units to be equipped with Option No. 3, and authorizes payment in the amount of Thirty -Nine Thousand Six Hundred Sixty -Eight and 29/100 ($39,668.29) Dollars with regard to such acceptance. Section 2: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Baytown Motors, Inc. for 7122 Section II of City of Baytown Bid No. 7610 -10, both units to be equipped with Option Nos. 1 and 3, and authorizes payment in the amount of Eleven Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -Four and 94/100 ($11,754.94) Dollars with regard to such acceptance. Section 3: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Bob Hamric Chevrolet for Section III of City of Baytown Bid No. 7610 -10, 1 unit to be equipped with Option No. 1, and authorizes payment in the amount of Eleven Thousand Four Hundred Thirty and 52/100 ($11,430.52) Dollars with regard to such acceptance.
