Ordinance No. 2,115ORDINANCE NO. 2115 AN ORDINANCE of THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF LIBRARY PURCHASE OF SLIPPING TRUCKS AND CAR. LIBRARY ON A UNIT PRICE BASIS, WITH BE BASED UPON THE ACTUAL QUANTITIES FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. 7119 THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, BUREAU FOR THE D TRAYS FOR THE THE COMPENSATION TO SUPPLIED AND PROVIDING WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of slipping trucks and card trays for the library on a unit price basis to be received October 22, 1976; and WHEREAS, notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9 :30 a.m., Friday, October 22, 1976, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Library Bureau for the purchase of slipping trucks and card trays for the library on a unit price basis in accordance with the invitation to bid and specifications of the City of Baytown as follows: ESTIMATED QUANTITY 5 27 DESCRIPTION Slipping trucks Card trays ESTIMATED UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE $ 235.00 $ 11.05 Total Bid $1,175.00 $ 298.35 $1,473.35 with the compensation to be paid to be based upon the actual quantities supplied. 7120 Section 2: This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas.
