Ordinance No. 2,1067104 ORDINANCE NO. 2106 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, RESTRICTING THE TURNING MOVEMENT OF RIGHT AT CERTAIN DESIGNATED INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY OF BAYTOWN; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, upon recommendation by the Council Traffic Committee, does hereby authorize the restriction of the turning movement of right on the following named streets, highways, or parts thereof described as follows: Eastbound on West Texas Avenue onto Hemphill Street Section 2: The Chief of Police is hereby authorized and directed to cause the proper signs to be posted at the above described locations. Section 3: Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, and each violation shall constitute a separate offense. Section 4: Effective Date: This ordinance shall take effect from and after ten (10) days after its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10) days after its passage. 7105 INTRODUCED, READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this 28th day of October 1976.
