Ordinance No. 2,0917067 ORDINANCE NO. 2091 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE BID OF BOB HAMRIC CHEVROLET, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF TEN POLICE VEHICLES AND ONE FIRE DEPARTMENT VEHICLE AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITY OF THE SUM OF FIFTY THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY - SIX AND 54/100 ($50,746.54) DOLLARS. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of ten police vehicles and one Fire Department vehicle to be received October 5, 1976; and WHEREAS notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let was published pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 5, 1976, as per published notice to bidders; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas, hereby accepts the bid of Bob Hamric Chevrolet, Inc. for the purchase of ten police vehicles and one Fire Department vehicle in accordance with the invitation to bid and authorizes payment of the sum of Fifty Thousand Seven Hundred Forty -Six and 54/100 ($50,746.54) Dollars.
