Ordinance No. 2,0887050 ORDINANCE NO. 2088 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS, ABANDONING A PORTION OF THE UTILITY EASEMENT OUT OF LOT 21, BLOCK 1 OF PLUMWOOD SUBDIVISION SECTION 3, BAYTOWN, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SUCH INSTRUMENTS AS ARE NECESSARY FOR SUCH ABANDONMENT, IF ANY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. WHEREAS, there presently exists a utility easement extending along the property line of Lot 21, Block 1 of Plumwood Subdivision Section 3, Baytown, Harris County, Texas; and WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 21, Block 1 of Plumwood Subdivision Section 3 has requested abandonment of this easement by the City of Baytown; and WHEREAS, the provisions of Resolution No. 11 of the City Council of the City of Baytown dated the 24th day of January, 1963, have been complied with; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1: That the portion of the utility easement of Lot 21, Block 1 of Plumwood Subdivision Section 3 is hereby ` abandoned such portion is hereinafter described in Exhibit "A," to this ordinance and the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute such instruments necessary for such abandonment, if any. 7051 Section 2: This ordinance is to become effective from and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown on this 14th day of October 1976.
