Ordinance No. 2,008ORDINANCE NO.2008 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODEOF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS,BYTHE AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 7, "BUILDINGS",SECTION 7-2,PROPERTY DELETED FROM FIRE ZONES,BY THE ADDITION OF A NEW SUB-SECTION (f), REPEALING ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH ANDPRO VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,TEXAS: Section 1:That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown,Texas,is hereby amended by amending Chapter 7, "Buildings",Section 7-2,Property deleted from fire zones, by the addition of a new sub-section (f),which shall read as follows,to wit: (f) BEGINNING at a point on the eastern boundary of Fire Zone No.2,Area E,being located easterly a distance of 100 feet from the east right-of-way line of State Highway Number 146,andbeing a point of intersection with the south property line of Tract 53,in the William Scott LowerLeague of Harris County,Texas; THENCE,westerly along a line perpendicular to the centerline of State Highway Number 146 a distance of 45 feet; THENCE,northerly along a line parallel to and45 feet from the existing eastern boundary of said fire zone a distance of 150 feet; THENCE,easterly along a line perpendicular to the centerline of State Highway Number 146 a distance of 45 feet; THENCE,southerly along the existing eastern boundary of said fire zone a distance of 150 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Section 2:Repealing Clause:All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the terms of this ordinance arehereby repealed;provided,however,that such repeal shall be only to theextent of such inconsistency and in all other respects this ordinance shall be cumulative of other ordinances regulating and governing the subject matter covered by this ordinance. Section 3:Savings Clause:If any provision,section, exception,subsection,paragraph,sentence,clause or phrase of this ordinance or the application of same to any person or set of circumstances,shall for any reason be held uncon stitutional,void or invalid,such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this ordinance of their application to other persons orsets of circumstances and to this end all provisions of thisordi nance are declared to be severable. Section 4:Effective Date:This ordinance shall take effectfrom and after its passage by the City Council of the City of Baytown.
