AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS,ACCEPTING THE BID OF SIGNAL ENGINEERING COMPANY
FOR THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC LIGHT ARMS AND HANGERS AND
AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THE CITYOF THE SUM OF TWO
THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND NO/lOO ($2,800.00)DOLLARS.
WHEREAS,the City Council of theCity of Baytown,
Texas,did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City
of Baytown to advertise for bids for the purchase of traffic
light arms and hangers to be received September 16,1975;and
WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place,
when and where the contract would be let was published
pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the
City of Baytown;and
WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City
Hall at 10:30 a.m.,Tuesday,September 16,1975,as per
published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN:
Section 1:That the City Council of theCity of Baytown,
Texas,hereby accepts the bid of Signal Engineering Company
for the purchase of traffic light arms and hangers for the
sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred and No/100 ($2,800.00)
Dollars and authorizes payment of the sum of Two Thousand
Eight Hundred and No/100 ($2,800.00)Dollars.
INTRODUCED,READ and PASSED by the affirmative vote of
the City Council on this 25th ^ay of September
