Ordinance No. 1,871.6116 ORDINANCE NO.1871 TEXAsf "°RDAINED BY ™3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, Section 1:That the Code of Ordinances of the City of Baytown,Texas,is hereby amended by amending Chapter 18, "Motor Vehicles and Traffic,"Article VII,"Truck Routes," Section 18-191,Certain commercial vehicles restricted to specified truck routes,by the addition of a portion of South Alexander Drive thereto as follows: Article VII.Truck Routes. Section 18-191.Certain commercial vehicles restricted to specified truck routes. ADD:South Alexander Drive between West Main Street and South Highway 146. Section 2:The Chief of Police shall cause the proper signs tobe posted at the above described locations. Section 3:It shall be unlawful for a driver of a vehicle to disobey the instructions of the signs placed in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance,unless at the time otherwise directed by a police officer. Section 4:Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not more than Two Hundred ($200.00)Dollars,and each violation shall constitute a separate offense. 6117 Section 5:This ordinance shall take effect from and afterten (10)days after its passage by the City Council. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice hereof by causing the caption of this ordinance to be published in the official newspaper of the City of Baytown at least twice within ten (10)days after the passage of this ordinance.
