Ordinance No. 1,800/ ORDINANCE NO.1800 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN, TEXAS,ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOTOROLA,INC.FOR THE PURCHASE OF PORTABLE RADIO UNITS AND AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT BY THECITY OF THE SUM OF THREE THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIVE AND NO/100 ($3,405.00)DOLLARS. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas,did authorize the Purchasing Department for the City of Baytown to advertise for bids forthe purchase of portable radio units to be received May 14,1975;and I WHEREAS,notice to bidders as to the time and place, when and where the contract would be let waspublished pursuant to provisions of Section 74 of the Charter of the City of Baytown;and WHEREAS,all bids were opened and publicly read at City Hall at 10:30 a.m.,Wednesday,May 14,1975,as per published notice to bidders;NOW THEREFORE, BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAYTOWN: Section 1:That the City Council of the City of Baytown, Texas,hereby accepts the bid of Motorola,Inc.forthe 'purchase of portable radio units for the sum of Three Thousand Four Hundred Five andNo/100 ($3,405.00)Dollars on a delivery date of 63 calendar days and authorizes payment of the sum of Three Thousand Four Hundred Five and No/100 ($3,405.00) Dollars.
