ORDINANCE NO.1785
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THECITY OF BAYTOWN,
TEXAS,CHANGING,ALTERING,AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
1704 HERETOFORE ENACTED ON THE 24TH DAY OF OCTOBER,
1974,AND ORDINANCE NO.1734 HERETOFORE ENACTED ON THE
9TH DAYOFJANUARY,1975,BY CHANGING,ALTERING,AND
AMENDING THE DESCRIPTION OF THAT PORTION OF POST OAK
DRIVE TO BE IMPROVED SO THATSAID DESCRIPTION SHALL
HEREAFTER BE,AND READ,AS HEREIN SET OUT;DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO FILE AN AMENDED NOTICE WITH THE
COUNTY CLERK REVISING THE NOTICES HERETOFORE FILED
PURSUANT TO THE ENACTION OF ORDINANCE NOS.1704 AND
1734;AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
f^WHEREAS,a small portion of Post Oak Drive which is to
be improved by Warren Brothers Company,Gulf District,Division
of Ashland Oil,Inc.,onan assessment basis was inadvertently
omitted fromthe description of the project contained in the
Initiation Ordinances,Ordinance Nos.1704 and 1734,adopted
on the 24th day of October,1974 and on the9th day of
January,1975 respectively;and
WHEREAS,it is the intention of the City Council of the
City of Baytown,Texas,to change,alter,andamend the
description of that portion of Post OakDrive tobe improved
to include the complete description of said project;NOW
(THEREFORE,
BEIT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAYTOWN,TEXAS:
Section 1:That Ordinance No.1704 heretofore enacted
on the 24th day of October,1974 and Ordinance No.1734
heretofore enacted on the 9th day of January,1975 by the
City Council of the City of Baytown,Texas,be,and the same
are hereby changed,altered,and amended bychanging,altering,
and amending the description of that portion of Post Oak
Drive to be improved so that said description shall hereafter
/p»v be,and read,as follows,towit:

POST OAK DRIVE,from the west right of way line
of Bayway Drive tothe east property
lineof Lakewood Subdivision,Section P;
the South curb lineof the aforementioned
improvement then extends eastward into
Section P,16.76 feet to existingpavement
and the North line extends 25.24feet to
existing pavement.
Section 2:The City Clerk is hereby directed to file
among the Mortgage Records of Harris County,Texas,an
amended notice ofthe enaction of said Ordinance Nos.1704,
1734,and of the enaction of this ordinance thereby revising
the notices now filed tochange,alter,and amend thedes
cription of that portion of Post Oak Drive tobe improved.
Section 3:That all sections and provisions of said
Ordinance Nos.1704 and 1734,with the amendments made
herein,are hereby ratified and confirmed and shall be and
remain in full force and effect.
Section 4:That all references in all ordinances tothe
description of the portion of Post Oak Drive tobe improved
pursuant to Ordinance Nos.1704 and 1734 are hereby amended
so that the portion of Post Oak Drive tobe improved shall
hereafter be,and read,as follows,to wit:
POST OAK DRIVE,from the west right of way line
of Bayway Drive to the east property
line of Lakewood Subdivision,Section P;
the South curb line of the aforementioned
improvement then extends eastward into
Section P,16.76 feet to existingpavement
and the North line extends 25.24 feet to
existing pavement.
Section 5:This ordinance shall take effectfrom and
after the date of its passage by a majority ofthe City
Council of the City of Baytown,Texas.
INTRODUCED,READ and PASSED by an affirmative vote of a
majority of the City Council of the City of Baytown on this
